From the streets and avenue 12" series comes one of the best ones of their's in quite awhile. We don't always pick up their releases, however the artists and songs on this one is good enough reason to pick this up. One Side A, Leftfield's 'Song Of Life' gets an interesting bassline that truthfully, I've listened over and over and can't quite put my finger on sample. It's a good one though and works for this song. Very steady beat until the strings and atmospheric aura of this song kicks in. On the B Side, Missy Elliot's 'For My People' gets a harded remix, also with a thumpin' bassline and filtered vocals. Interesting samples on this make it a great remix of this tune. Top quality all the way around!
